"The Good, the Bad, the Weird" (2008)A Korean western loosly based on the sphegetti western. Three men rob the same train in Manchuria trying to obtain a treasure map. Yea, it's weird, but plenty of fun. |

"The Host" (2006)Another Korean film, this time a monster movie. Many times better than "Cloverfield" because you actually care about the characters. And, because it is so character driven, they do not waste time trying to hide the monster for suspense. |

"Wall-E" (2008)One of the best sci-fi romantic comedies I have ever seen. If the Academy Awards didn't relegate animated films to their own little corner, I would have had a good chance of a best film oscar. See this film if you haven't And if you have, see it again. |

"Cowboy Bebop: The Movie " (2001)"Cowboy Bebop" is one of the best TV series ever made. The first episode I saw had one of the main characters talking about John Coultrain coming to him in a dream and it told me immediately that this was going to be different. In 2003, I showed the entire series all night long, I wanted to get this in, too. |
